Skills for Life

Rhyddings Scout Group aims to deliver an inspiring programme aimed at preparing our Young People with ‘Skills for Life’. This strategy supports and empowers both Young People and Volunteers and is a strategy to bring communities together and contribute towards a better society.

Welcome to 32nd Swansea Rhyddings Park Scout Group

We are ideally located to take full advantage of Singleton Park, Brynmill Park, Swansea Bay beach and the Prom which are a 5 minute walk away.

Each section meets weekly providing a wide range of programmed activities. The meetings take place both inside and outdoors giving our young people a variety of life experiences. Events and camps are run throughout the year to consolidate skills developed during weekly meetings.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
