About Us

32nd Swansea Ryhddings Park Scout Group is located in the suburban district of Brynmill in Swansea, South Wales. Our HQ is located in the grounds of the Scout & Guide HQ just off Bryn Road, which is accessed through a metal gate and down a short drive way.

The group was established in 1926 and has over 55 members and 13 adult volunteers. We have a thriving Beaver Colony, Cub Pack & Scout Troop. Anyone aged between 14 to 18 is welcome to contact and join the District Explorer section.

More information is available in the relevant age-related sections.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with our section nights, events and committee. If you are wondering how you could help, check out our volunteer pages. Don’t worry, we will support you to develop skills and offer training along the way!

We are an active group with camps and activities happening all the time. We aim to develop young people with #SkillsForLife, whilst having fun and making new friends. See what we have been up to on our social media pages. Decided Scouts is for you? Visit our joining page to sign up.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
