Scouts

Scouts are the eldest section of Scouting here at the Rhyddings Scout Group. This section is for young people from the ages of 10½ to 14. The Scout section is called a Troop, with each Troop made up of several Patrols.

Rhyddings Scout Group runs one Scout Troop which meets on a Tuesday 7.30pm till 9:30pm.

Being a Scout is all about discovering the world on your own terms and making the most of what you have, wherever and whoever you are. You will get the opportunity to try new things, have adventures and make new friends.

We help our Scouts develop #SkillsForLife. We build confidence, independence and encourage them to explore their beliefs and attitudes.

There is a termly subs fee for attending section nights. This covers costs like rent, activities, insurance and more.
