Niamh Dorrington ASL has double presentation!

Date: 13th Oct 2023 Author: Ben Ball

Niamh Dorrington (ASL) recently had a double presentation!

Hedley had the honour of presenting Niamh with her Kings Scout Award and Elli Masterton (Swansea University Community Liaison Officer) had the pleasure of presenting Niamh with her Good Neighbour Award. This award is offered to students who have been nominated by their local community for the time and commitment they have shown in assisting local projects/charities. In our case Niamh has been an active member of the Rhyddings Leadership team over the past few years and deserves recognition for her commitment to the Troop. Well done Niamh.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
