Scouts go Coasteering

Date: 31st May 2023 Author: Ben Ball

On 27 May 15 Scouts, 5 Parents and 2 Leaders enjoyed an afternoon of  coasteering down at Rhossili, Gower.

Coasteering involves swimming, scrambling and jumping around the base of the dramatic Gower cliffs, there was even a cave exploration thrown in! We were fortunate to have a beautiful day with calm seas.

RipNRock were the activity providers and did an excellent job of looking after us all.

We all had a brilliant time and look forward to booking more of the same next year.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
