Scouts Halloween Sleepover

Date: 29th Oct 2022 Author: Scout Websites

The Scouts enjoyed a ‘spooktacular’ evening of creepy goings on at HQ on 29 October.

The evening began with pumpkin carving followed by a number of games and craft activities. Everyone enjoyed a lovely buffet tea before finally settling down to watch Hocus Pocus.

I don’t think the Scouts got much sleep that night……I know the Leaders didn’t!

That said the event was a great success, in no small part due the efforts of Ashleigh & Niamh who deserve particular thanks for decorating the HQ as well as organising and running the event. Diolch yn fawr!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
