Scouts participate in All Wales Air Rifle Competition

Date: 26th Mar 2024 Author: Ben Ball

16 Scouts took part in this years Scouts Cymru Air Rifle Competition. They all had an opportunity to try their hand at a couple of different types of air rifle using .177 pellets. This was a first for the Troop and was only possible with the kind support of Brecknock Scouts Lead Volunteer, Tony Hodge. Some excellent scores were posted on the day, we may even be in with a chance of recognition at a national level! Well done to all who participated.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
