Silver Cross Scout Centre

Get to the A48 either from Llangyfelach (Junction 46) or Penllergaer (Junction 47). Turn off the A48 mid way between Junctions 46 and 47. Follow the lane (over the M4) until you arrive at Silver Cross – drive carefully – single track lane.

Silver Cross is a camp site developed by Glamorgan West Area Council for the benefit of Scouts, Guides and other recognised youth organisations. With easy access from the M4, the site is ideally situated to take full advantage of what the surrounding area has to offer, from the beautiful Gower Peninsula with its glorious beaches to the Brecon Beacons and superb hiking. The site is open all year round.

Moorlakes Wood Scout Centre

Travel from Swansea on the A4118, through Upper Killay towards Swansea Airport. Cross the first disused runway, cross the second disused runway.

There is a turning on the right JUST past the second runway. You will need to slow down dramatically as you approach it. You will need to travel up the old runway, turning left at the top. Ensure you park in the designated parking area in the Activity Centre.

Bryn Road Scout & Guide Headquarters

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
